While Yoga is often thought of as physical exercise, it is also a practice of concentration—a moving meditation that brings awareness to the present moment through the breath, the body, and the mind—and offers a number of benefits to our wellbeing.
- Builds muscle and bone strength
- Improves your flexibility, posture, and balance
- Increases your blood flow
- Builds awareness of your breath and your body
- Calms your mind
ABOUT OUR YOGA CLASSES
No matter your age or fitness level, we aim to inspire a sense of compassion, accessibility, and to set intentions that last long after you roll up your mat. Our carefully-themed series of postures are designed to align your breath with fluid movement. At Studio Rééquilibre, you get attention and instruction from a passionate and certified Yoga teacher, either in our studio or outdoors. We infuse our Yoga classes with the same quality and attention to detail that we do with Pilates, limiting our class size and offering modifications and options to customize your practice to suit your body.
For your Yoga session, Studio Rééquilibre invites you to use their Manduka eKO Pro mats, blocks and straps, but you are welcome to bring your own if you wish.
what we offer
VINYASA YOGA ------------------- MONDAYS 18H30 TO 19H30 & Fridays 7h15 to 8h15
Practice with attention and intention. This style of yoga is based on a series of dynamic or static postures (asanas) initiated and harmonized by breathing. The Rééquilibre classes blend precision in alignment with breath awareness and fluid movement for a balanced practice. These classes typically move through a warm-up and Sun Salutations into strategically sequenced postures, working toward a particular peak pose or targeting a specific body part.
YIN YOGA --------------------------Tuesdays 19h15 to 20h15
Yin Yoga is a gentle and relaxing practice that focuses on muscle stretching and stimulation of internal organs. The postures are maintained for several minutes. This practice aims to rebalance the energies.
VINYASA YOGA ------------------- Fridays 7h15 to 8h15
This style of yoga is based on a series of dynamic or static postures (asanas) initiated and harmonized by breathing. Breath and movement are intimately linked so that each action drives the other. Develop stability and well-being whilst discovering your limits.
kids YOGA (4 to 10 year) --- Fridays 16h15 to 17h15
Yoga allows kids to get to know each other better and to develop coordination, balance and concentration. The exercises are practiced in a gentle and fun way and the group spirit will give the child the tools to live in harmony and to better accommodate and manage the emotions as well as situations of stress or discomfort. A regular practice will help children integrate new skills of self-regulation and calmness into their lives and gain confidence.
