Personalised Training

About our Personalised Training classes

Working in the studio or out in the open, personalised training develops and improves healthy lifestyle habits and helps to prevent a variety of health problems.

Denise Walters, a Sports Therapist specialising in cardiovascular and pulmonary rehabilitation and problems related to diabetes and obesity, offers personalised training classes adapted to all ages and levels of fitness, from clients with health issues to those who are highly athletic.

The training classes are offered as private, semi-private, or in small group sessions -  known to be the best methods of rapidly achieving results.

In order to measure your physical changes and improvement, the classes start with an initial physical evaluation. This evaluation looks at your level of fitness and physical ability and the areas that need to be improved in order to determine and agree the objectives to be achieved. Once your objectives have been decided a specific training program can be designed with or without close supervision during your training. The exercises will be aimed at improving your cardiovascular condition as well as your muscular strength, stamina and flexibility.

In-Studio Training

The Rééquilibre studio is in the centre of Neuchâtel, and is equipped with Pilates machines and an Elliptical Cross Trainer, which assist in reinforcing proprioception, endurance and strength. This relaxing and welcoming studio environment encourages you to enjoy a program of physical exercise that is adapted to your ability and to your objectives.

Outdoor Training

For those who are ‘allergic’ to indoor gyms and adore being out in the open air, group training sessions are on offer during the warmer months. Either at the side of the lake or up in the open areas above the town, speed walking or light intermittent frequency training are the order of the day and the environment around us (trees, rocks, benches etc) used as training aids to increase muscular strength and stamina. We follow a series of stretching exercises at the end of each training session to improve overall flexibility.

These group training sessions, of up to 10 participants, will aim for an overall physical improvement in an atmosphere that is fun, friendly and energising.
